Born January 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee, Justin Timberlake began performing as a child. His first television appearance was on Star Search
where he sang a country song befitting his roots. His big break came in 1992 when he spent two years in Orlando with Disney's Mickey Mouse Club. There he had the opportunity to showcase his talent with
future bandmate Joshua Scott Chasez, Christina Aguilera, and Britney Spears. He returned home after two years on MMC but his desire to sing soon brought him back to Orlando.
From there Timberlake
and Chasez joined forces with Pittsburgh native Chris Kirkpatrick and New Yorker Joey Fatone to create 'N Sync (now called *NSYNC after their lawsuit settlement). Later Lance Bass was added to the
group.
Justin and his bandmates spent a long time playing in Germany where they created a buzz in their 1998 tour. But when they returned to the U.S., they were still relatively unknown.
Fortunately for them, a Disney Channel Special played repeatedly created a growing U.S. interest for NSYNC that has quicly grew to its current super state.
Though Justin has a love for making
music, he seemingly hates the business side of music. One good thing Justin's been able to do on the business side is launch a charitable foundation to raise money for music and arts in public schools.
Justin was chosen in 1999 as Teen People Magazine's "21 Hottest Stars Under 21". One of his worst habits is that of belching. It is rumoured that not only does he snort mountains of
cocaine, but he constantly has hookers coming and going. His teen fans would be heartbroken to learn he'd much rather pay for sex than have a real girlfriend. Still, Justin Timberlake has easily become
the most popular individual of all the 'boy bands'.
In 2004, he created a national hysteria when he bared Janet Jackson's breast on national television during the Super Bowl broadcast. As a result
most live action events now have time delays.
